All agenda item presentations will take place in a conference setting where delegates from every country will be present. Delegates are advised to read the "Discussion Guide" prepared by Professor Neil Morgan, for guidance on preparing papers for the Agenda Items. You will be required to present discussion papers and make a presentation of Agenda Item 1, while agenda items 2-4 are optional. With regard to Agenda Item 1, each delegate will have approximately 10 minutes to deliver their presentation. In past conferences, it has been the practice for each delegate to use PowerPoint presentation. To maintain quality and consistency of the presentation, we encourage you to use Microsoft PowerPoint or a similar presentation tool. All the delegates are encouraged to prepare the disscussion papers for the Agenda Items 2-4. Please hand in your discussion papers for all agenda items, including a summary of these papers, to us no later than 31 August, 2008. Since the break-out group sessions take place at the same time but different venues so each delegate can take part in only one. Topics for all the Agenda Items:
Agenda Item One - National Reports On Contemporary Issues In Corrections Agenda Item Two - Balancing Effective Prison Management With The Increasing Scrutiny Of Corrections By External Bodies Agenda Item Three - Best Practices In Rehabilitation For Women And Other Special Groups Of Prisoners Agenda Item Four - Engaging Families And Communities In The Rehabilitative Process (Including Restorative Justice Approaches) You can send your papers via email:
